FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s)
What is RT-PCR?

RT-PCR stands for real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) and is a method of analysis used to detect infectious diseases, including COVID-19. Our RT PCR tests are analysed using  UKAS 5189 accredited laboratory service. The result is indicative of an individual’s COVID status at the time the sample is actually taken. We charge £99.00 for a fully managed service and next day result. This includes ‘fit to fly’ certification and any specific QR code required.

The RT-PCR test will not show previous infection. The RT PCR analysis method is recognised as the gold international standard for COVID-19 testing by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and accepted virtually everywhere.

Having the COVID vaccine does not adversely effect your result.

How do I know if I need a COVID-19 test to travel?

If travelling from the UK, you can check the entry requirements for your destination online at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.You can view the latest travel status concerning restrictions online at https://reopen.europa.eu/en. What should I bring to the appointment?

You must bring  the passport you are using to travel. You may not be tested without it. Please also only arrive at your allocated appointed time.

How to get my result?
